The IBIA Expo took place from September 28 to October 1, 2023 at the Istanbul Exhibition Center and attracted over 22,000 professional visitors from 97 countries. The trade fair gave us the opportunity to speak to many potential customers from Africa and Central Asia, which was something we really enjoyed because these countries are not often represented at other trade fairs.

IBIA 2023 presented trends and innovations in the mattress supply industry and in technology. The record 300 exhibitors who attended the fair demonstrated a wide range of products and services that are relevant to the manufacture and sale of high-end mattresses. Our presentation at the Spühl/Fides stand focused primarily on our new services, which attracted a great deal of interest. Although we had no machines on site we were nevertheless able to discuss our products with several interested parties and get them excited about them.

Overall, IBIA EXPO was a successful event that we will be attending again in the future.

Our new customer portal, Spühl360, will be available from December 2023 and will replace SEPOS. It will bring together in one place all of the important tools, such as the spare parts catalog, everything relating to spare parts orders, the new Smart Service Dashboards, and a whole lot more. This innovation provides a complete overview of all your machines and makes ordering spare parts simpler.

“My machines” is a list of all of the machines that you own. Inspection logs are stored here, and you can see right away which spare parts should be ordered next. You can also access the dashboards und Reports from Monitoring & Analytics.

In the “Spare Parts” section, you will find everything relating to spare parts, as well as the spare parts catalog, which is even available in 3D for the new machines. This is the area where orders can be placed.

In the “Orders” section, you will find your order history. You can see completed and open orders. Here, you can also register returns.

Spühl360 has a completely new design which is purposely different from the Spühl website. This makes it immediately apparent that you are in your personal area.

We informed all SEPOS Users at an early stage and will be sending you all important information and instructions for the switch over to the new portal personally.

It’s important to us for you to be able to keep your Spühl, Fides, and Remex machines in your production on a long-term and predictable basis. That’s why in future we will be informing you by email when the relevant conversion kits become available.

Spühl is continually developing conversion kits for existing machines and for those that are no longer in production. In this way, we guarantee that you can get the most out of your machine and keep it in service for an above-average duration.

Our conversion kits represent further developments and replacement solutions for components that are no longer available or improvements to existing solutions. Our new email service will mean that you will always know exactly which conversion kit is relevant to you and will be able to place an order in a timely manner.

If you lose data as a result of defective hardware, it is important to have your settings, options, and formulas backed up, otherwise, all of this data may be lost and recreating them would be very time-consuming.

The various machines differ depending on their age and the technology standard. That means that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. We present three options to protect you in the worst-case scenario.

Photograph your Settings

Take photos of all important settings to provide yourself with an offline backup. This rudimentary method is mainly suitable for older machines and in cases where there is no export function.

Export your Settings

Most Siemens-controlled machines have a function that enables you to export and re-import your formulas and settings.

Back up to an External Data Carrier or Hard Drive

In case of machines with PC control, you can export formulas and settings onto a USB flash drive or save them on the D drive of your computer. Because this works differently depending on the system, our Customer Service will be happy to provide support online using TeamViewer (Portable TeamViewer).

Please always indicate your machine number and provide a screenshot of the software information page if possible. This will enable us to identify the machine clearly.

From 25 December 2023 to and including 1 January 2024, our business will be closed. We look forward to being there for you again with full energy from 2 January 2024! During the company holidays, our spare parts service and helpdesk will be available to you with reduced service in the area of spring machines. Goods can also be delivered - our warehouse team will be on site with reduced service.
